Michael Jackson wore a prosthetic nose, according a report -- and it was missing from his surgically mangled face as he lay in an LA morgue.

Left behind was a small, dark hole surrounded by bits of cartilage, Rolling Stone magazine said, citing witnesses who saw the King of Pop's body on the autopsy table.

Jackson, who was notoriously shy about his appearance, wore the prosthetic to mask the effects of decades of plastic surgery, according to the magazine, due to hit newsstands today.

This thing just keeps getting more and more weird. Frankly, I'm more than sick to death of the story in the first place. But this turn of events was just strange enough to get my attention and post. I just have a nose for finding these sort of stories, I guess

Wonder who gave Rolling Stone the tip in the first place?

Something here just doesn't pass the smell test! Who nose where it might turn up - have they checked eBay yet? I sure hope someone is sniffing around for clues. I have a scents that the nose may be found in an ol' factory. But only the nose knows......or was it the Shadow nose?

I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere...when it stops running.

If you like doing laps in the swimming pool, you might want to stock up on the energy drinks before diving in to this one.
It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, has a 115 ft. deep end and holds 66 million gallons of water.

Yesterday the Guinness Book of Records named the vast pool beside the sea in Chile as the biggest in the world.

But if you fancy splashing out on one of your own - and you have the space to accommodate it - then beware: This one took five years to build, cost nearly 1 billion dollars, and the annual maintenance bill will be 2 million.

The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, on Chile's southern coast, since it opened last month.

Its turquoise waters are so crystal clear that you can see the bottom even in the deep end.

It dwarfs the world's second biggest pool, the Orthlieb - nicknamed the Big Splash - in Morocco, which is a mere 150 yards long and 100 yards wide.

An Olympic size pool measures some 50 yards by 25 yards.

Chile's monster pool uses a computer- controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other.

The sun warms the water to 26c, nine degrees warmer than the adjoining sea.

Chilean biochemist Fernando Fischmann, whose Crystal Lagoons Corporation designed the pool, said advanced engineering meant his company could build 'an impressive artificial paradise' even in inhospitable areas.

'As long as we have access to unlimited seawater, we can make it work, and it causes no damage to the ocean.'

$2 million a year to maintain! That's a LOT of chlorine and cleaning! Do the lifeguards have speedboats to get to people out there? Wonder if they get hurricanes there? What a mess that pool will be when the surge comes over in over it?
But on a positive note....no rip currents, no cold ocean water, no sharks, jellyfish and seaweed!

A 13-story apartment building under construction in Shanghai has toppled over almost intact, killing one worker.

Footage broadcast on state broadcaster CCTV shows the whole building lying on its side.

The building reportedly tipped over at the base, crumbling to the ground in one big piece.

It's believed the 28-year-old worker killed had gone into the building to get his tools and tried to jump out the window when the building fell.

As usual with journalism today there is an amazing lack of curiosity on the reporters part. Did they even ask any questions that they could add to the story? Inquiring questions like:

• Is there even a foundation or was the building being held into place by those measly looking pipes in the mud?
• What caused the building to topple over - high winds? Too many people on one side of the place? An earthquake?
• How many other tenants in the identical buildings next to it are moving right now? What are the other tenants thinking about this turn of events? Anyone planning to move in that suddenly changed their minds?
• Who builds a building with THIRTEEN stories? I didn't think that was even done? Isn't that some really bad Feng Shui?
• Are they going to stand the building back up and move people back into it?
• How many Chinese engineers, inspectors and construction workers were executed and how much were their families billed for the bullet?

On the other hand, notice the fallen building is in remarkably good shape? So they at least did a good job with the rest of it! If only they'd thought to secure it to the EARTH!
